After being a Choral Scholar
at King's College, Cambridge, Humphrey Clucas became a teacher and then a Lay
Vicar at Westminster Abbey. Although self-taught as a composer, his liturgical
music is in the repertoire of most English cathedral choirs, and his concert
works have been extensively performed by secular choirs.
